A total of $10,000 was provided as a challenge grant for Celebrate Youth in the Arts, a collaborative fundraiser supporting Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale, Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, Imagination Celebration and PAYO.
The following organizations were provided scholarship grants of $500 to $1,000 to attend the National Performing Arts Convention in Denver in June 2008: Colorado Festival of World Theatre, Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale, Colorado Springs Chorale, Colorado Springs Dance Theatre, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble, Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Imagination Celebration, Manitou Art Theatre, Opera Theatre of the Rockies, Theatreworks, Young Concert Artists.
Finally, $25,000 was granted to the Colorado Springs Philharmonic through the Symphonic Music Fund held at the foundation.
