How To Apply
To apply for a Grant Please read the Foundation Goals and Guidelines & Eligibility
Organizations that concluded the most recent fiscal year with revenues of $50,000 or less may apply for a maximum of $2,500. Organizations with annual revenues of $50,001 or greater may apply for up to $15,000.
Applicants should submit one copy of the Grant Application, as specified below. All written materials should be on 8.5×11 white paper with 1-inch margins, copied on one side only, unbound (no staples, binders, etc.). Use 12-point type. Note: The narrative portion of this application replicates the Colorado Common Grant Form, with five supplemental questions noted in italics.Questions welcomed. Call 719-477-0185 or email

One copy of the application plus attachments should be mailed, emailed or delivered in person by the deadlines stated below. The foundation happily encourages phone calls and emails with any questions prior to submittal.
Applications are accepted year-round but must be received by 5 p. m. January 1, April 1, July 1 or October 1 to be considered for review during the quarterly trustee meetings. When those dates fall on a holiday or weekend, the first weekday thereafter applies. The foundation will notify organizations within 45 days of the outcome of their submission.
