About Us

History

Bee Vradenburg’s legacy endures to this day in the Pikes Peak region. Inspired by her passion and boundless generosity, in 2001 Bee’s friends and family formed the Bee Vradenburg Foundation. With son George as chairman of the board of trustees, the foundation’s mission is to advance Bee Vradenburg’s vision of a thriving and diverse cultural community by investing in the excellence, innovation and sustainability of the arts in the Pikes Peak region.

Through its grants to nonprofit organizations, the Bee Vradenburg Foundation supports a variety of cultural offerings. The foundation also strives to increase awareness and support of the arts community-wide, through presentations to service organizations or groups such as the Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, the foundation staff assist in various projects and programs designed to enhance the arts scene.
